Aluminum Thermal and Non-Thermal Break Windows

Diamond Door Products supplies windows that are designed for metal building wall applications but can also be used for conventional walls. Thermal break windows have a polyurethane barrier that separates the frame and prevents conductivity of heat/cold from the outside of the frame to the inside. This window comes with 5/8" insulated clear glass - and has several fins types to match the wall panel or a "universal" fin for installation into a framed opening.

The non-thermal window system does not have the thermal barrier in the frame. It also has 5/8" insulated glass and fins to match the wall panel or a straight fin for installation into a framed opening. Various sizes and styles of window are available. Window colors are white, bronze and mill finish. Options are available on special order such as tinted glass and special sizes.

Both windows are "self-flashing and self framing". This means the windows can be installed directly onto the wall panel with no additional steel or wood framing. Fins are designed to match the wall panel type (regular "R", or architectural "A"). However, they can also be installed directly into a framed opening using the universal fin system (thermal window) or the straight fin (nonthermal window). The framed opening can be supplied by the metal building manufacturer or by Diamond as a "preassembled subframe system".
